Are you searching for the perfect advent calendar to kick off the holiday season? Advent calendars are such a fun way to have a little joy every day leading up to Christmas. There are so many calendars to choose from these days! But if you’re like me, you sometimes struggle to find something to fit each person’s personalities. I asked friends from our community and they delivered with their absolute favorites. Here are the tried and true best advent calendars for 2024!

By far the most recommendations were for Lego Advent Calendars. Here’s a few varieties to meet every kids desires.
Harry Potter Lego Advent Calendar
Harry Potter plus Legos is bound to be a winning combination for so many kids (maybe adults also)! It even comes with some festive holiday figures.
Lego Friends Advent Calendar
These are the Lego sets my daughter gravitated more to. A great option for a child who likes this line of Legos.
Lego Star War Advent Calendar
This set is a bestseller every year. Perfect for Star Wars fans young and old with favorite characters and ships.

There’s a lot of different options for Charm Bracelet Advent Calendars! Many of these are very affordable and a good option if you want to stay away from candy. My daughter loved the year I got one of these advent calendars for her.

Play-Doh Advent Calendar
I bought this for my youngest a couple years ago and he LOVED it! Truth be told, his older siblings also were very entertained and wanted to play with the Play-Doh too. It is a great value, you get a new Play-Doh AND a new Play-Doh tool each day.

Are your kids obsessed with Pokemon? Mine certainly are, and I’m sure they would love this one!
