Welcome Travel Families!
This family travel blog was born out of a love for living abroad and family vacations in Europe. Our expat life got started when we got married and moved from the United States to Germany. It was a whirlwind starting our new lives together as a married couple and uprooting to a country neither one of us had been before.
Since then, we have been a traveling family for the last 10 years! We travel with kids almost all the time and have dragged them on many European road trips, long trips overseas, and too many day trips to count.

I’m Lindsey, an American mom of three who lives as an expat in Germany. We are living abroad for the fourth time. We have also previously lived in Georgia (the country not the state), Ukraine, and a different part of Germany.
Our favorite thing about living abroad is the opportunities for family travel. We love traveling to new places and experiencing new things. We also love getting out in our own area to spend time together and make fun memories.
Traveling with children isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it. I hope through sharing our experiences we can help make it easier for other travelling families.
